Hi Laura. I have a few thoughts and can hopefully help. If you have equity in the house, you might be able to re-mortgage the house to incorporate any outstanding bills - I have experience doing this for other people and it works. If you do not have equity in the house and have medical bills, consider working with the billing department(s). Offer to pay them fifty cents on the dollar. It might sound strange, but this works as well.

I need a grant for 79 year old female who has started her own candy business. She has rheumatoid arthritis and needs help to cook and sell her candy. Funding would allow her to hire people for just a few hours a week so she can man her booths. Also needed is the cost of using a commercial kitchen, one time fee, minimal charge.

Hello. I am 46 years old and I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to my whole liver. My dream is to get a Motor home and travel to places I have never seen. I have a 9 year old granddaughter that I have raised since she was a baby. I also have my son who would want to go he is my caregiver. If anyone would be willing to help with a down payment or possibly donating a Motor Home so I can make my dream come true please let me know. My diagnosis was a year or 2 with Chemo but I am fighting it the whole way. Being able to travel and take my granddaughter to see the world is my biggest dream. It has always been in my heart. I have prayed on it and I feel that God is telling me to take the trip with courage and not fear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless. Audrey

ABOUT P. ANNIE'S SECRET GARDEN

My name is Brooke Sanders. I am the founder of P. Annie's Secret Garden. Our main objective as 501-c 3 is to grow "clean" fresh fruits and veggies, exclusively using organic methods. We do not use pesticides or non organic Herbicides. We then give the harvest to some of our most vulnerable members of our society for absolutely FREE. Our Veterans, senior citizens, disabled and ALL low income community members.

What does the term "clean" food mean?
It means P. Annie's Secret Garden, Inc grows healthy produce using only NON GMO seeds and seedlings and absolutely NO poison..period. All natural organic methods are used only.

First, it is our belief that all members of our community deserves access to clean produce, regardless of economic hardship or disadvantage. All individuals, not just the more fortunate members of our community, not just those who can afford to purchase fresh produce deserve healthy eating options.

We promote the belief and fact that our sick members of society, i.e. disabled folks, would benefit tremendously from consistent access to clean, healthy fresh produce. In addition, we believe that our elderly, already faced with unique difficulties in the journey of life, should also have the same ability, as a basic human right to consistently access clean foods. Further, our Veterans, willing to sacrifice everything they have, to help maintain a safe and free society, most definitely deserves consistent access to clean produce. Finally, we believe that our future societal leaders, our students, should certainly have consistent access to "clean" uncontaminated food.

All of the individuals previously mentioned, live on a daily basis with little to no safety net. The most fragile members of our community are suffering a basic need and right, consistent access to "clean" healthy food.
We, as a community have full power to ensure that our less fortunate members of our community are not going without clean, healthy foods.
We as a community, by working together, can do something about this issue. Through P. Annie's Secret Garden, our pay it forward organization, it is only through community help and involvement that we can truly thrive and make a consistent impact.
There are many volunteering opportunities with P. Annie's Secret Garden to pay it forward. Become a P. Annie's Secret Harden Host. This simply means that you allow us to bring in a healthy "clean" food garden to your residential yard. We will then plant, tend and harvest the food and take it to all recipients who are low income. We pay for it ALL.

P. Annie's Secret Garden is Community Partnered with Southern Oregon Head Start. We establish on-site gardens and tend these Gardens for the schools. This affords an environment to teach Students good healthy "clean" eating habits and gardening techniques. Not only is it important to be feeding our future leaders "clean" food in school, but it's equally important that there is clean food in their homes as well.

Therefore; P. Annie's Secret Garden also establishes "clean" gardens for all who wish to participate. The food is grown and the recipients keep 2/3 and 1/3 of harvest will go back into P. Annie's Secret Garden Inc.We will distribute the "clean" food to those who are even less fortunate. We are creating neighborhood community leaders!

P. Annie's Secret Garden grows "clean" food for Rogue Community College students.
